Leo Vibe Maps is a Chrome extension that highlights neighbourhoods by vibe on accommodation search maps. Open a map, show the five original Barcelona areas and inspect their labels. Custom areas use your own Gemini key.

Draw neighbourhood circles on the supported page map; hover and click reveal area information and zoom.

Use the source’s fixed Gothic Quarter, El Born, Gràcia, Barceloneta and Eixample areas.
Custom areas
The popup and background service worker include a Gemini-backed path from a trip description to structured areas.
Site integration
Manifest V3 content scripts and site-specific handling target Airbnb, Booking.com and Google Maps routes; current compatibility needs verification.
How it works
- Open a supported map search
- Activate the extension
- Inspect coloured neighbourhood circles and tags
- Select an area to zoom
- Optionally provide a trip description for custom areas
Design decisions
- Draw native map circles rather than a static image, keeping areas aligned with map navigation.
- Separate the page content script, injected map code, toolbar popup and provider-calling background worker.
- Keep the historical browser extension distinct from the separate geospatial agent console and retail similarity preview.
Current state
The source beta loads as an unpacked Chrome extension. On a live Airbnb Barcelona search, the original integration created all five neighbourhood circles and zoomed to fit. The web example exposes the same five areas. Custom-area requests use a visitor’s own Gemini key for that request.
